Fees

The total fee for the entire Master of Science IPED programme is British Pounds £ 8,300. Half of the fee amount (£ 4,150) is paid upon matriculation and the rest half (£ 4,150) one year later.

The above fees include:

  • The course documentation that will be provided in an electronic form
  • Distance supervision through electronic communication
  • Participation fee to the one-week compulsory workshop in Zurich or Edinburgh
  • Supervision for the Dissertation
  • All related registration and program administration costs
  • Assessment, examination and awards.

 

The student will be receiving an advice about the University account to which the payments should be made. 

Additional Fees:

In case that for some reason a student has to retake a module at a later time, or resubmit the coursework of a module, then an additional fee shall be paid to cover the extra costs of the University. The same will be valid for the dissertation work. These additional fees would be as follows: 

  • Retaking a module: £330
  • Resubmission of coursework for a module: £120
  • Re-sit examination of a module: £120
  • Changing the subject of dissertation and resubmitting it: £990
  • Resubmission of and reassessment of dissertation: £600

 

Additional Expenses:

Students visiting the University for the Awards Ceremony in Edinburgh have to cover the travelling and accommodation costs. Participation in the awards ceremony is not compulsory. Non-participating students will receive their degree by post.

There will be a one week compulsory workshop on research methods over the entire period of the programme. This will take place in Switzerland or Scotland. The related traveling and accommodation expenses will be paid directly by the students.

All sums stated are exclusive of United Kingdom value added tax, any taxes and duties in the student's country and money transfer and currency exchange fees, if applicable. Any such will be paid in addition by the student.
